Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Omono mobile app ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you accept the terms below.
1. Description of the service
Omono is an app for organizing family life, offering a shared calendar, shopping lists, notes, gift wishlists, a home budget, and location sharing and SOS alerts within a family ("Home"). The set of features may change as the App evolves.
2. Account and requirements
- Using the App requires creating an account (email and password).
- An account may be created by an adult, or by a minor with the consent and under the supervision of a parent/guardian. Accounts for children are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App unlawfully, not to infringe the rights of others, not to submit unlawful content, and not to disrupt the service. Sharing your location with other family members is voluntary and done with the knowledge of the people concerned.
4. Premium subscriptions
- The App is free to use in its basic scope. Premium features are available through a paid subscription (Family 2, Family 4, Family 7 plans and additional seats).
- Payments and renewals are handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play under their respective terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You cancel and manage your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region and taxes.
- Refunds are handled according to the policies of the relevant store (Apple / Google).
5. Your content
You retain rights to the content you create in the App (events, lists, notes, wishlists, budget entries). You grant us only a limited license necessary to store and sync that content in order to provide the service to members of your family.
6. Location and SOS — important notice
The location-sharing and SOS alert features are supplementary and informational. Omono is not an emergency service or a safety/security system and does not replace emergency numbers (e.g. 112 / 911). The accuracy and availability of location depend on the device, system settings, and internet connection. In a life- or health-threatening situation, always contact emergency services.
7. Availability and changes
We strive to keep the App running continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free availability. We may develop, change, or withdraw individual features. We will notify you of material changes to these Terms in the App or by email.
8. Liability
The App is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, in particular for consequences of decisions made based on location data or reminders. This does not exclude or limit consumer rights under mandatory law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account management → Delete account). We may suspend or delete an account in case of a breach of these Terms or the law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
